The Stress of A Level Results Day

Hiya lovelies,
So if you are reading this on the day it is set to be published then it is Wednesday and tomorrow is Results Day. For those of you that may not live in England or know what A- Levels are, they are basically what decide whether you get into University or not, dependent on your grades.
It is one of the most horrific parts of the school year and even just the thought of around 2000 students cramming into a hall not big enough to hold everyone is making me feel slightly nauseous.

My plan of action is to catch the train at around 8.30am to arrive at college for just before 9 o'clock. There are however a few things that you need to bring yourself if you are going, just in case the results are not what you expected and the morning doesn't go to plan.
  • Bring your mobile phone and make sure you have enough charge and credit to be able to ring universities through clearing. A phone will also be likely to have a calculator so you can work out how many UCAS points you have earned
  • You also need to bring any documentation with you that will identify you as being a UCAS applicant with your identification number on. This will help you to go through clearing.
  • Buy a copy of the telegraph (newspaper) on the morning especially so you can see which universities are offering places through clearing.
But most of all, GOOD LUCK to everyone getting their results tomorrow. I hope you achieve as highly as you wanted and you should be proud of making it through your A-Levels.
Thank you for reading this post and I hope you find it useful.
